For Guys
“A hero is someone who understands the responsibility that comes with his freedom.”

What services do you offer for me?
STI testing – You have decided to become sexually active. You may feel like you have it all under control, but what about your sexual risk exposure? Lifeline does free testing for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia and, if you are positive, we’ll get you an appointment for treatment.
If you are concerned about going to your school health center, have no fear. Our services are free. The nurse will evaluate your sexual behavior to help you reduce the risk of getting an STI. Protect your health. Protect her health.
We also offer mentoring to clients about healthy relationships in addition to our pregnancy services and parenting assistance.
She’s pregnant. Now what?
Pregnancy Services – We get it – you never intended for things to work out this way, but here you are, facing a decision together about what to do about an unplanned pregnancy. This decision is life-changing, and you have an important role to play.
First – get the facts!
Is she really pregnant? The Mayo Clinic website says that 10 to 20% of pregnancies end on their own. Why take pills to end a pregnancy that may have already ended. At Lifeline, we offer a lab-quality test with instruction from a medical professional to be sure the test is done correctly. We also provide an ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy.
Is the baby inside the uterus, and how far along is she? At Lifeline, an ultrasound can determine if the baby is alive and growing inside the uterus. If the baby is growing outside the uterus, that is called an ectopic pregnancy and it is life-threatening. You have an opportunity to protect your wife or girlfriend from harm.
Do either of you have a sexually transmitted infection (STI)? Lifeline will test you and your wife or girlfriend for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia and get you an appointment for treatment. You can make sure that she gets proper care to protect her future reproductive health – and yours!
Lifeline will help you figure out your role in the decision-making for your child. Our staff will listen to your fears and feelings. We will never judge you.
She needs you now. Speak up and give her the support to make the best choice. You are strong and you can do this. We will help.
We are having the baby. What’s next?
Parenting support – Lifeline staff offers mentoring, classes, referrals and other education to empower you to grow into your fatherhood role. Studies show that an actively involved father is critical to a child’s future success. Our staff will work with you and your wife or girlfriend to strengthen your relationship by giving you the tools you need. You are a vital part of shaping your child’s future. You can become a positive force for change in your family’s life.
When you visit Lifeline, you will receive baby clothing, furniture, and diapers and formula to help stretch your income.
You can do it.
We can help.
