“You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.”

John Bunyan

Where do the funds go?

There are many ways to look at the cost of our program, but I think the best way is to think about the benefit to the client.  When you make a monetary gift, it goes into the general fund to be used where it is most needed.

Cost for upcoming classes to address the obstacles to LIFE that our patients face:  $14,731.52

Cost for one Patient to attend the program:  $1,473.15

Cost for one mom to choose LIFE until the baby’s first birthday:  $1,589.42

Cost to support one mom who just needed help for 18 months: $1,045.78

Provide formula and diapers for one mom for a year:  $600.00

Help one mom choose LIFE:  $543.66

Provide food for our patients for the whole year:  $223.10

Provide one hour of support:  $58.10

Provide formula and diapers for one month:  $50.00

Food for one month:  $18.60

    Make a Monetary Gift

You can make a monetary gift through our PayPal portal.  You can even set up a monthly payment to support us year-round.

    Shop and Give

Amazon Smile lets you shop all of your favorite categories on Amazon and a percentage will be donated to Lifeline. Just click on the Amazon Smile button, log in, and select “Lifeline of Berks County” as the charity you want to support.

    Give Needed Items

Do you have new or gently used items to donate?  Please wash all clothing and clean all other items – it really helps us out!  Then just call for an appointment to bring the items to the center.  That way, someone will be free to assist you in bringing items in.  They can also tell you where to park so unloading will be a snap!  Do NOT leave items on our porch, though.  We have overactive squirrels and pigeons and they like to make messes.

If you want to know what items we need right now, sign up for our newsletter.

    Questions About Giving?

Our staff would be happy to answer your questions at any time.  Simply call the center at 610-374-8545 or email

Someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

      Our Services

At Lifeline of Berks County, all services are free and confidential.

For clients who come to Lifeline for a pregnancy test, Lifeline offers peer counseling, reproductive health education, material services, and referrals.  Our pregnancy tests, limited ultrasound confirmation of pregnancy, options education, and STI testing are for education and are not meant to replace your regular medical care.

Lifeline of Berks County does not provide or refer for abortions.  We do listen and help you get the information you need about all of your options.

You have your own story.  We are here to listen and provide support.
